I have not been impressed with the recessed retangler headlights but if these lights wer closer to the bodyline and covered I would be intersted. I have given some thought to installing lights in the front grill of my '79 but I do not care to be the lab rat that finds out how low the local law will allow before ticketing.

I'm interested in installing projectors. I have a set of Bosch projectors but I think the little PIAA lights could be mounted so that the headlight covers would only have to open a little. If the lights were recessed. it could be a very cool look.

Are you talking about mounting projectors in the grill?

I would be highly interested in those style of lights , please document and take some pics and post or share with us .

I too wanted to install headlights down in the bottom and close the original headlight holes in , but I didnt want to fight with the law .

You might want to contact holley425HP (he's a new member here), he is doing the same thing. His car had the rectangular recessed lights and he's doing what you want to do also. Don't think he has started on it yet, he does have the bulbs. It should look cool, round recessed lights are nice.
