We are The sore point is not the thought of moving to the colonies, it's the fact that I didn't follow most of my mates over the last 25 years. They're doing really well in "the colonies" (mainly Aussie & the US), while most of us left here are struggling to just keep our heads above water. Moving to the colonies now is very difficult due to family commitments & my age - nobody wants us "old" people
TVR Griffith! Are they still making these?
Unfortunately not. You would have had the 200 or 400 (Ford V8, probably rare & worth a lot of money now) & I think production stopped in the late 60's? The one I saw was a 500, which was around in the 90's & isn't made anymore either. A guy I vaguely know had one & traded it in for a Chimera. The Chimera is faster, quieter(!), more reliable, newer with all the modern gizmos & generally better all round, but he prefered driving the Griffith & regrets selling it. I guess it's the same as me liking C5's but prefering my C3 (thankfully I didn't have to sell it to find that out). But I wouldn't mind having a C5 as well
