Replacement shifter question

Default Replacement shifter question
I purchased a used Borg Warner manual 4spd out of a 78. I'm in the middle of a body off restoration on my 79 nand am converting it to a manual. The original owner of the 78 hacked off the shifter to use on his overdrive tranny project. It appears all I need to do is press out a pin to remove the remaining shifter shaft. Can somebody link a complete replacement or make some recomendations that is economical but original looking?

There is only one shifter to get and that is HURST if it looks anything like a Mr Gasket design pass on it. They were junk.

Installed a Hurst. The ball height is better then the stock.

They are absolutely right, dump the stock and get the "real thing" Hurst. Got mine from Ecklers.
