Hi All, I signed on 9/15/04. Bought my first Corvette, a 1977 T-Topper, in late spring. It has new black paint, destroyed interior, runs very good (automatic). I drove it home. So far so good. I stripped the tan interior, removed all the trim pieces, cleaned all & repainted black. But you know, that guy you keep talking about (Bubba), he must have owned every Corvette built. It seems he has left his mark some place everywhere he's gone. Anyway, I have learned more about this car reading your posts than in any books I have bought so far. I thank you Corvette Forum and you all, for your time and effort. My Corvette is a weekend fixer and I am loving every moment of it, so far. Thanks again. Jimydc
Bubba's handle here is "DJ Dep" we pretend to listen just to be nice. Thanks for joining the club.
hahaha, thats incredibly mean and funny at the same time...
Welcome to the forum. This place is great. I've owned my 73 for just about a year and have done basically everything short of a frame off. If you've got questions the forum has got the answers. Check out corvettefaq.com there are tons of FANTASTIC articles that should help you out on your way. Enjoy your c3.

Welcome Jimy. Why don't you consider adding at least the state where you live to your profile. This way you could possibly hook-up to other forum members in your area.
At least you made your initial "drive home" without incident. I wasn't as lucky.
Are you located in DC (based on your handle). Just joined as well from the DC area and looking to learn more as I recently bought my car as well. 73 'vert white/oxblood
