First - fuzzy dice WILL give you an extra 10 horsepower.
Second - although your car doesn't have the word Stingray on it (unless a previous owner put the Stingray emblem on) when people ask if its a Stingray just say YES.
Thank you the welcome, welcome, welcome. I live in a small town in southern Wisconsin named Albany. I was 13 years old when the first Corvette was introduced. By the 1955 model year I fell in love with the car but ownership was a dream. I saw the first Stingray model and I did not like it. In recent years, and I don't know why, but I beleve it's the best looking Corvette ever made. The 1977 Corvette I bought was an impulse buy, I was looking for a truck. I hope to post some photos
soon (I need to figure that out yet). I have named it "The Black Widow". Well, off to the garage. Jimydc.

Jimydc, I was 11 years old when I saw the first Corvette. Never thought I would have one eather. My 76 is red and I call it Diablo. I guess that's why I am the diablo kid. Maybe the Black Widow will meet Diablo some day. GOOD luck
I live in Eagle, WI - only about an hour away from Albany. Maybe we'll meet at a show sometime. I plan on going to the Jefferson swap/show next weekend. If I can find the time to get the new exhaust on my 68 I'll bring it on Sun. Maybe I'll see you there?
