subwoofers

any ideas/pictures on how to put a sub,amp,speakers in my 1980 vette
if possible,i need some sort of shelf to put my t-tops.

I'd show you photos but I won't be home for another two months. What are your goals with you're stereo? Kicker makes square 8" subs that sound like 10's. I recommend going with them. You get the best of both worlds - Good bass and very little lost storage space.

sub/amp

well,i`m going for sound and space...maybe,a flat box4or 5inches high
to put subs and amps...i want space for my t-tops..does anyone got pics or a web site that might? thanks for the help!!!

i agree about the 8's i had 2 -10's but put 2 -8 "phoenix gold subs in a small box with a rockford fosgate amp and it sounds better then the 2 10;s i had.And i have room for the ttops and bottle still.

does a Vett. need that much bass???? not tring to be a azzz

just doesn't seem like a good system would need more than 1 good 8"
with 6 good speakers

Check out the Kenwood WooX powered sub. That is what I put in my sub and it is plenty for the small confines of a an 80 Vette. Infinity also has the Bass-link T, which is a new more potent version of their original Bass-link sub. These will allow to continue to store your T-tops behind the seats still.
