Default Really weird strap like object?!?!

I just found in the back of my car a t like strap that has u shaped clips on each end and a pull type strap adjuster. Could this be the strap to fasten the t tops to the luggage rack??? Please help.

thanks

Sounds like it could be the strap to tie the T tops in the back of the car

Sounds like the T-top straps for the rear interior compartment. There should be some small chrome do-dads to attach the strap hooks on to in the back. I have the do-dads but no straps for my '80.

Sounds like the hold-down strap for the tops.

Never knew that. I used to them to tie down the wife, but could never find the straps for the ankle's. Either they were lost or that option was not ordered.

Just gotta add that I really like T -tops.

In a second or so the car is essentially a very safe convertable - and only do one side if you are on your own.

That smoked glass one piece on my 1988 drove me mad. Used bolts with a special ratchet etc, was heavy, a pain, car used to shake over pot holes without the panel in place, the list was endless !!

Just never want to see another C4 in my whole life.

And I don't have much to say about the C5 apart from its very fast for the money involved. Had to collect my friends new one last year when his Mom died suddenly - nothing to do with the car !!!!!!!

In silver - it just does nothing for me - but I mught steal his engine one dark night .................

Default Straps

That is the adjustable strap to hold the tops in storage, there should be clips on the rear shelf that the hold downs hook on to.
