After being warmed up, my 82 wouldn't crank, after checking the starter, and all the connections. I was advised by Marck(Twin Turbo) to check the plug on the passenger side where the wires go down to the starter.
This is what I found. Lot's of corrosion on the inside on the blades....I fixed it by cutting it out and soldering the wires together for now. To bad they didn't invent weather pack connectors before 82...
Well I fixed my problem today. Went to blockbuster to return movies. Got in the car after dropping them off and nothing!! Looked under the dash as I did dash wiring on Saturday. Tried again, not even a click! Called the tow truck I thought this is embarrassing. About half an hour later the tow truck had yet to arrive. Then it hit me When working on the dash wiring I had loosened the battery cable. Checked it out. The negative cable came off? I put it back on and voila! Vrrroooom!! Called and cancelled the tow and drove home. problem solved :bb
