Default The next step in performance?

I've added a Weiand manifold,Holley carb, ceramic headers, true 2.5" dual exhuast w/ crossover & Flowmaster 40's.The 79 had a cam installed when I got it,but havent identified which one. What would be the least expensive, with the most improvement add-on for performance gains? A B&M torque convertor? I have a 3.55 rear end.A shift kit? Thanks in advance for your input.... ......P.S. And yes,I've already gone all poly suspension except tie rod ends I'm doing this week, upgraded sway bars,VB & P Smart Struts,KYB shocks(may change those)

Hmmm what Weiand manifold is it and what Holley carb? If it is a DP carb and a single plane manifold, it certainly would benefit from a different setup in the induction system, under 2500 RPM.

Have you set the timing to Lars' spec? He has a spec sheet published that is well noted on this forum and may help you too. Good luck!

Do you have K&N filter and does the filter only get cold air from outside the engine bay?

Its K&N ,and the cold air is coming soon. The stock setup for 79 was dual snorkel, but it had to be removed.I've been talking to ramairbox.com about a prototype 79 vette application, thats also dual snorkel. Yeah, where is that spec sheet? I have a Holley 600/625 electric choke,& a Weiand Action Plus.I have no room left under the stock hood in height.

Nothing too fancy yet! But after a few more mods I'd like to try a quarter mile, but I think I'd have more fun on a road course. But in reality,I dont plan on making racing or anything a regular occurance.I like a car that handles well,in cornering or otherwise. And I'm not out to make a racecar, but I'd like more power & torque w/o breaking the bank all at once, for now.Eventually, maybe just throwing a crate motor in could be a possibilty, such as a ZZ4.
