Default 700R4 & A.C. problems

Hi , this may be O.T. for this forum but I need to find out how related the A.C. system is to the transmission. The car is the g/f's daily driver, a ' 94 Cadillac Fleetwood, a boat, its rear wheel drive and has an LT-1 Chevy V-8 in it, recently the blower motor for the heater a/c stopped blowing, on any speed. the a/c appears to work only because if you drive with it on with a window slightly open you will feel a cold breeze coming from the ducts and the accumulator/drier under the hood is very cold and has moisture on it (sweat) . the transmission is full of fluid and depending on the position of the car (slightly uphill, or slightly down hill) the transmission acts sluggish but sometimes shifts fine,,,so fine friends of this forum and transmission knowledgeable people ,,,,,,,, wasssup with the a/c-transmission? any help would be gratefully accepted, I need to get her out of my truck,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and soon.
Peace,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Craig

I don't think that Caddilac began having computer controls on the AC until 1996. Your problem sounds like a fuse or blower motor. Check fuse, then jumper the battery to the hot lead on the fan. If it runs, then the problem is the selector switch on the AC control that allows the fan to operate when the selector is taken out of the "OFF" position.
