Yep, I'm redoing the interior -- already have the old dirty tan goodies out and the new black parts, pieces, and seats sitting in the garage or headed this way (thanks Ecklers, Gary at Gruhala, and any others).
I've been following threads on the subject.
Here's a couple of before pics (or little white boxes with red X's):
I'm using Auto Custom Carpets (A.C.C. many places sell them) and their front heat/sound shield. I'll augment this and do the back with the roll stuff.
I got the aftermarket (vintage Mr. Gasket ratchet) shifter in -- rest of this weekend will inlcude cleaning the floor, running new antenna cable, and (if the tan stuff on ebay sells) finding an indash CD stereo to install before I start putting the console back together.
Oh yeah and prep the lower dash pads for paint -- sounds like an honest days work.
1 thing i am seriously looking at doing when i start redoing my interior and exhaust is put headder wrap on the pipes where they come out of the manifolds.. I plan on wrapping them all the way to the cross member too... the heat in the car is dang hot!
