header question...quick
i have a 77 with a small block..... i'm gonna get headers and was curious if these would be alright.......... 1 5/8 collector size, 3 in out.... or should i just stay with the original manifold... i'm redoing the exhaust anyways...... headers or manifold...that is the question.... once done, the engine mod might bring it up to 300-350 hp

sounds about right for header spec..........Make sure they will fit though and specify auto or stick. And don't pinch pennies on headers or you'll be chasing exhaust leaks for the rest of your life 
Headers definitely offer a performance gain over manifolds. good luck.
