Basically, with my limited knowledge through osmosis, that setup is for an engine that has an existing carb type intake instead of the multiport injection type, Built for those who don't want to completely dive into the whole EFI setup with the rails, multiple injectors and tuning. This is a replacement for a carb and from what I have heard is easier to tune and pretty close to as reliable as "true" EFI. The only thing I am wondering is how cost effective it would be over a true EFI setup either in kit form or even scavanged out of a boneyard.
It is a tbi unit and looks like you need a computer to control it. Also looks to be higher pressure, more like a MP system, since it requires a 70 psi pump.
