I'm going to be replacing the mech. fuel pump with an electric one soon on my '79. What 'size' pump would be suitable for my purposes?
The '79 will be just a daily driver.... it's an L82.... edelbrock performer intake... edelbrock 1406 carb..... mild cam.... etc. Won't be a speed demon or anything. What gph and psi should I shoot for in a pump?

why do you want to do this? and are you putting in a sensor to shut the pump off in a crash? do you ever listen to the radio with the ignition on, because if you do you will have an electric fuel pump just sitting there waiting for the float level to drop for what ever reason. for what its worth I had these extensively on the british sports cars that I restored and do not miss them...
