Default Brake lines done!!!!!

I finished installing all new brake lines with the body on. It wasn't that bad. Tomorrow i will put on new rotors, calipers, brakes. Also my smog pump is siezed up. Will that affect the way my car runs? All I did was cut the belt off. Also what type of air filter should I get ? My original setup is missing and to get a new one is a couple hundred bucks. Can't quite swing that yet. My engine is the L-48. Thanks again

Aftermarket chrome copy air filter assemblies are about $40 or so. Boneyard wants about $10 or so for one off a 4 barrel carb but check carefuly before trying to slam the hood closed in case it does not fit.

The smog pump can frequently be un-stuck if you work it back and forth a few times. I have only had one that would not break free that way. If it is realy bad you can clamp the front of the shaft hub in a vise (after pulling off the fan filter) and try turning the body back and forth. Unbolting the rear plate helps some times too. Do not clamp the body of the pump or it will be ruined. You might not want to worry about it at all if you do not need smog equipment. The car will run fine without it.

Brakes you say...
