Default now wtf did i miss?

I just got my heater control faceplate from Zip today and went to install it (it's gettin mighty chilly up in the northeast)

I hooked up everything that I could, fired up the car, nothin.. no ventilation or anything.. read the directions (i know, a bit late) and it says there's 3 connections on a 69 with A/C.. I have 3 hooked up, and 2 not.. giving 5 connections total..

this thing is really giving me s**t lately.
anyway here's the pics..

now the two in question..

where the hell does it go?
(btw, mine broke and was taken apart 2 months ago)

Did you connect the ground wire? That may be it in your hand. It goes to the frame of the controller, front, lower right.

Hard to tell what's what in the pic... One thing is you're missing the light for the heater control. That's the hole in the first pic. The ground wire is only needed to make the light work. Even without the ground you will have functioning AC and blower.

What exactly is the problem? Is it that your blower motor is dead or that the vent system is not directing air where it should (feet/vents/defroster) or what?

I know the light isn't hooked up, but it still turns on (odd i know)

when I hit the switch for the heater, I'd normally get a sound from the blower motor, but now I get nothing, I'm just wondering where that last connection goes. and the instructions zip gave me aren't the greatest. in fact it was taken from a Corvette Fever article about 5 years ago..

so basically it's like looking through a chiltons

Maybe this view will help, the orange wire at the bottom goes to the cig lighter so ignore it. Mine is a 71 with air but it looks close but it hard to tell with the out of focus picts.

Hope this helps
