Default 1973 Corvette Database

I have been collecting build date and sale historys of 1973 Corvettes. I currently have some information on about 65 1973 Corvettes.

If anyone would care to contribute their Corvette's information it would be greatly welcomed. I need the VIN number or at least the last five numbers of the VIN and the trim tag codes, date, trim, & paint. If you have any history of the selling dealer that would also be of value. Copies of the window sticker and/or the build sheet are also of great value.
If anyone wishes to contribute their Corvette's info or has questions you can email me at rms0990@erols.com.

Default 73 Serial Number

Hello,

I have # ****Z***05454

Z = LS4 - 454
4 speed manual transmission
A/C
It has the California Emissions CE equipment on it.

It has been repainted and is not the original color.
I will get the trim tag information to post later.

I like the fact that the last 3 digits are "454" with a 454 engine.

Why do you call it "CE" for California emissions? I've never heard that term used before.

If the engine stamp pad shows CE and some numbers then it is a warranty replacement engine.

Default 1973 Engine Information

Hello,
This post is to answer a question from Mike Ward. I looked at the serial number informaiton from the following website.
The Idaho Corvette Club website.

http://www.idavette.net/facts/73.htm

On this page it shows several suffixes for the engine codes such as CLD or CLH. The California Emission test may be an option code YF5. That is where I got the information from that I added to my serial number.

Up to 121 Corvettes on my list now.

Anyone else willing to contribute to the database.
You can email the info me to me at rms0990@erols.com or just post it here.

Thanks to all who have helped out.
