Easy. Whatever you like. Just don't get one that has a big, bright display! I had a Blaupunkt with a blue screen, but I couldn't use it at night...it lit up the small cockpit.

I have a Pioneer DEH9400MP model....VERY expensive headunit, a lot more than most people will ever need, but if youre REALLY into your stereo, go for it. If not, I find Alpine, Sony and Pioneer H/Us are the best $ for $ values out there.
Also make sure you buy your H/U according to what your final stereo goal is, dont buy one without pre-outs and sub out if you plan on putting IN a sub and other or BETTER speakers later.
