When I purchased my 72' it had aluminum LT1 valve covers and now I would like the original steel covers for my base 350.Why are these covers so hard to find?
hard to find because nobody saves them, and they haven't been used for 20 years? just go to a junkyard and they'll probably give you a pair off their junk motor pile (if they still have old chevys, that is). joe
