I need to replace both of my outside handles on the 69. One supporting vendor has original equipment for $59.99 each. Another supporting vendor has reproduction for $20.00 each. Seems to be a big price gap $40 repro vs $120 OEM. Has anyone used the $20 repro's and what did you think of them?? Thanks

I think you are going to find most people are staying away from the *** repro stuff and going with the GM for $60. I did when I replaced mine and am happy with the results so far.
They're such a pain in the A$$ to change, I was afraid if I put in the cheap stuff I'd have to go back in later and fix them. Sometimes the extra $$$ pays off in the long run...
The price reflects the difference. A realy good repro will sell for close to GM or sometimes even more. Some repro chrome looks great when new but would not last long under daily use. If you have a show only or weekend type car you could try the repro. I realy like to get the GM pieces when available and not crazy priced.
The repro's tend to not fit as well and wear out fairly quickly. The hole where the rod goes is what wears and then the rod just slips through the hole and won't release the latch.
