I have a new project body to start on. I wish I could participate in this with you guys but get this............my insurance company forbids a roll cage or even a roll bar.
I still have the structural foam for the frame rails we discussed last year on my mind though. Jim
They used "Fallstaff" and "Burgie" cans in my 63 Fuelly roadster after the cage install (were probably drinking them as they welded and bent the tubing!)
Big632 - I have a couple of questions about your cage. First of all I noticed your door handles. I considered reskinning my doors and eliminating the stock arm rests. Because that would allow you to move the side bars out another 3 inches or so.
#1. Is your upper bar located outside of the TT handles?
Gkull Yes they are outside butt up against the door lock button, that is now gone. Yes my head ,helmet is below the hoop. My floor is lower than stock which gives me more headroom, kind of deceiving.
