don't forget to mention you're a forum member, they'll get you a discount. Would love to see how your project turns out. c5 wheels should look sweet on a c3, good luck.

You may want to look at the #290 Vortec Z wheel from Performance Wheel Outlet. You can find them on the internet by adding a www. and a .com to the name.

Custom built spacers, below two links - make sure they're talking about four spacers when they say "set"

You're not finding much because this isn't a common mod, because it IS difficult to pull off. Supposedly one of the big vendors made C5 wheels to fit but they had some trouble and no longer make them last I heard. You won't find anybody who will make wheels like this custom for you unless it's at a rediculous cost, however they are made to fit Camaros and such, which may require less of a spacer to fit. Also, adapters are superior to spacers in strength, although they are more expensive. If you contacted VBP they would help you.

those two links are exactly what i want. i know this is a common mod, but that is why i think it would look so good. i agree with your rediculous price on custom made wheels though. i think i will just have to get some adaptors and hope to hell they don't fall off. if any of you have any other links to people who have done something like this i would love to see them. thanks

I was interested in putting C5 wheels on my C3, very interested in fact. Problem is, I spoke with VBP and they said they are so different they would need like 3" adapters which would make them stick out and isn't good in general for the bearings in terms of stress. I've heard that they make C5 wheels for other late GM cars like camaro and that the offset is closer to C3ish but unfortunatley my lack of knowledge in this area (offsets/back spacing etc) has stifled my research. I think I'm going with TTT's and as a present years down the line I will pursue it again since it will be expensive to do.

Also the Z06 wheels that were direct bolt on's ended up being snake oil. The parking brake hardware had to be relocated and after that the tierods on the front still rubbed so they stopped making them. Hopefully someone will pull there head out of their *** and make them correctly as many people are interested in these. After all, if the TTT's are 17's and can be direct boltons why not those in 17's? Again I lack the knowledge...
