To Kill, Or Not To Kill?
1. Go to jail for killing him
2. Just hit him REALLY hard in the face
3. Tell him to back the **** away from my car, because the next time he touches it, he will be feeling the pointy urethane bumper when i runs his *** down.
To Continue...
So he says to me "Ya, i checked out your brakes by TAKING THE BACKIN PLATE OFF and I CHECKED UR DIFFERENTIAL FLUID, IT SEEMS OK, oh by the way, have you had your car aligned it seems to be toed in on the rear tires. now, i dont know if its possible to take of the rear backing plate for the brakes or not, but the sound of those words coming from his mouth was Made me feel like turning into a downright nasty person. anyways i kept my cool and i need ur opinion, cuz tomorrow if that guy comes up to me, your decision will decide His Fate.

I mean we're all proctive of our rides and if he IS ****ing around with it make sure he knows not to, get upset, just not unduely so. Youre an intelligent mature person (unless Im assumin too much) youll figure it out.

If so, tell him the price doubled only for him or that he should stay the hell away from the car until you can have it professionally examined to determine if he caused any damage. And if he did, that he will be billed shortly.
The most important, and hardest to follow rule in an argument is: If you lose your cool, you lose the argument.
Just stay calm and keep asking him to lower his tone. Eventually he will become flabergasted and will walk away feeling like the tool that he obviously is.
just tell him not to touch your car, if he wants to have it inspected, to take it to a mechanic. if he did do damage, bill him for it. kicking his a$$ will solve nothing, but maybe put you in jail for a while.

Well, Peace anyway,,,,,,,,,,,,Craig
Did I give you permission to touch my car?
He'll then say no!!
Then you reply.. What gave you the right... You see my Vette don't like people $#^@& with it you see.... so the next time you #(@*! with it again I'll have to make you eat the asphalt after I drag your A$$ around the complex by a spiked chain that'll be wrapped around your neck and tied to the rear bumber of the VETTE you VIOLATED!!!
Or just tell him "I don't think it's a good idea you touch my car again buddy!"
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
1. You get pissed tell him to stay away from the car.
2. He gets pissed and keys it or does some creative body work...If he has access to jack it up he has access to smashing it up.
3. You report him to the cops but have no proof.
4. he does more creative body work.
5. You seek retribution..trash something of his...
6. He gets pissed sues you.
CONGRATULATIONS two rednecks have sucessfully destroyed a perfectly good corvette and another vehicle and in the mean time made another 3 payments on your attorney's new Porche.
Bottom line, decide if you want to sell it...if you do, ask the guy if he plans on buying it. If not, ask him to keep an eye on it for ya while your at work so nothing happens to it until you can sell it.
Confronting him will make you feel better but will get your car messed with...I can almost promise.
That's why he went on his own little rampage, right or wrong!
Secondly, you have to politely request that he please not inspect your car without your permission.
Ask him: Would he mind someone inspecting his vehicle without his knowledge? The guy is obviously either not very bright or just an idiot, BUT he did come and tell you what he had done!!
Thirdly, get him to give you a $1000 deposit and a note stating that he would buy the car for stated price after having had it inspected by a reputable mechanic OR Tell him to give you the 5.5K and give him the keys to his new car.
The problem is that you live in the same building as this guy and you don't need to create a situation where you need to look over your shoulder all the time! Especially with someone who is not to bright and acts on instinct and not judgement!!
If you act on INSTINCT you will end up regretting that action!!
Just my .02

I have a close friend who had his fence (yes, fence) stolen a couple years ago. It was the next door neighbor. They went round and round through the legal systems and eventually got a new fence... Fast forward to a month ago. The neighbor killed his wife by beating her to death with BLENDER.
Seriously.
People who do whacked-out **** have whacked-out minds. Don't confront him or you'll likely regret it. I'd politely ask him to keep away from your property and if he has questions to ask. Call the police to get it on record...just in case. I'd also seriously consider moving out of his circle of influence somehow.
Some might consider it chicken****, but I value my safety and the safety of my family & posessions to blow a minor situation into a major situation...
