I just got one for a '71 from Mid America and a few pages are poor quality, but they warned me about that. Don't know about Corvette America. I haven't had my coupe very long now but I'm beginning to see that you really do need 2 or 3 service manuals for reference, so maybe a difference is good.
Assembly Instruction Manuals are GM authored technical manuals, not third party items. The content should be the same. Quality of the reprint may vary. My Mid-America AIM is 100% legible.
I laminated every sheet of mine, to keep greasy fingerprints away and to keep the pages from getting dog-eared.
Pacific Corvette is a great place to deal with. I've bought a number of things from them and they're nice people. This is the cheapest that I've found for AIM's.
Which one is better, "Corvette America" or "Mid America" is there even a difference?
Can't remember where I got mine, but when you buy one be sure and buy the index with it. When I bought it, the index was about 8 or 9 bucks extra, but without it, you'll go nuts trying to find what you're looking for.
