Anyway, I have new springs from VBP and they sit ok but I would sure like to cut one coil out but not sure how much this will lower the
front end, Any one know ??
Thanks !

Bottom, where the spacing is larger.
I cut off 3/4" off stock SB coils and droped my front end 1 ". Each Vette is different, there's no universal formula. Start with a 1/2 coil and see where that gets you.
You must cut the top of the coil and make sure when you reassemble the spring that the top coil end goes in the "pocket". It takes a little jiggling around but you can get it there. I recently did this on my '68, cut approx. 1 1/3 coil on each side and it lowered the car 1.75 which was exactly my plan-the top of the fender well covers about half of the tire tread(225-70-15). Good luck-Roger B.
