About 11 years ago I sold my 1973 Red Vert (tan top and interior) 350 4speed, to a fellow named Joe Adrucites ( I think) pronounced Andrew-cit-ies from south Jersey. He bought and sold Vettes. I am trying to find the car again. A few years ago a friend told me he saw it at Golden Classics classic car dealer in Lakewood NJ, I havent called there but Im sure its not still there.
I know its a long shot but Im hoping someone knows this guy so I can try and track the car down.

Well Golden Classics only sells cars with ~big~ price tags so I'm sure it went to a good home. Is there a 73 registry website?
There's a guy on forum who works for UPS in that area. I think he's a regional coordinator. He might be able to help. Sorry I don't remember his name.
No, no diamonds LOL! Not even a really special or particularly desirable car. Its the best car I have ever owned, Id like to get that particular car back. I did alot of the work on the car so I know its done right. My friend saw it at some time ago at Golden Classics and told me it would break my heart to see it the way it was. Come to think of it the fellows name here is MOJO, Thanks, I'll link him to this thread.

Im not entirely sure they would turn over someones name to me, I guess can ask. To be honest (It couldnt possibly still be there) Id rather not "buy" it from them, Id like to find the owner. That place is WAY overpriced. Next time you are passing by, glance in the lot and see if there are any 73 ragtops (tan top and interior) in the rear lot. If there is, I'll take aride down there and buy you a beer after I (hopefully) get my ride back!!!

you know they may not release the name to you but i bet they would forward a stamped envelope to the guy if you sent them a nice letter. perhaps even contact the guy and try and buy it for you,of course that $$$ in their pocket but you may get your car back?
I will take a look for you. But Joe I believe owned Classic Wheels.
Golden Classics is now Future Classics, I think there was a problem with fraud or accusation of fraud. Nick De Martino owns Golden/Future Classics.
Joe went to jail a few times for various reasons related to stolen car parts and such. Another forum member who is an ex cop arrested him a few years back, the guy was stealing(or had people stealing for him) C4 targa tops. He lived on another forum members UPS route, I used to deliver to him as well.
Note, don't take the above as pure fact, most of it I've heard through reliable sources, but I don't know the exact names of those involved, but I do know that Joe owned Classic Wheels and the building he used to be in(next to Pine Belt Chevrolet) is now the home of Golden/Future Classics.
The old Future Classics building is now Auto Lenders, and Classic Wheels is no longer in business.
This obviously makes your search more difficult, but I did see a red C3 convertible at Future Classics, I doubt it is your car, but I will try to take a look later if I get the chance(I'm leaving for Virginia right after work).
Thanks for the info. Its possible my friend got the dealer name wrong, there are lots of them down there. Im not at all surprised to hear that about the fellow, I was less than impressed with him when I met him. Well, this stinks but at least I have a little more info.

Chevyguy, When you go to Future Classics ask for a gentleman named Joe from Pine Beach, (he's not the owner/bad guy that was mentioned in a previous post) he's a salesman there and a corvette collector/NCRS stuff, he'll should be able to help you out.....
