Default Need Help With Brakes

I am currently working on changing my Corvette over from power brakes to manual brakes and have hit a slight roadblock. How exactly do you get the power booster out of the car? I have 3 of the 4 nuts off but can’t seem to figure out how exactly you are supposed to reach the 4th one (the top one near the clutch peddle). Can anyone give me any tips or tricks to make this job a little easier.
My other question is what all do I need to do this power brakes to manual brakes swap? I already have:

- Manual Brake Master Cylinder
- Adapter Plate
- Adjustable Push Rod w/ Clevis

Will I need anything else? Thanks in advance.

You are doing one of the biggest P.I.T.A. jobs on a C3 Vette. I use a "wobbly" socket and do it by feel. The manual brake pin is the lower hole on the brake pedal arm and refer to the A.I.M. manual for your Vette or check out the expolded diagrams on Corvette Cental's web site.

Thanks for the tip. You are correct this job is a P.I.T.A to do, there just isn’t much room to work with. I guess I’ll go and see if I can’t find a way to get that nut off of there. Thanks.

bence, when I installed the manual pedals in my '75, I also ran into this. I believe for that nut I used one small extension, then a swivel, then a larger extension. This nut is sure one pain in the nuts.

I think you need different lines that run from the master cylinder to the proportioning valve.
