Just ordered these two books from Amazon....
Haynes Restoration Manual: Classic Cars : The Complete, Illustrated Step-By-Step Guide
Haynes Automotive Body Repair & Painting Manual/113573 (Hayne's Automotive Repair Manual)
Anyone have / read these before? I have generally been pleased with the Haynes manuals I have for the Nissan, Audi and Vette so I am expecting the same quality.
Thanks
Shane
I haven't used those manuals; I did use the Haynes 68-82 Corvette guide, and was very disappointed; when I was doing suspension work, I had to use a schematic out of the Van Steel catalog to figure out where the parts went. I was almost completely out of luck working on ym radiator.
I found the manual VERY general, and covering 15 years worth of cars, it needs to be more specific.

Will keep that in mind going forward. Surprised, though...While I have not needed the HAynes for the Vette yet, it has been pretty useful for the other cars. Luckily I also have the shop manual and a few engine building books to supplement.
Thanks
