I got the invitation for this event but wasn't planning on going. Looked to me like they don't allow you to push the cars? I did a BMW event a few years ago and they set up an autocross track and recorded everyones times. That was ablast, but if the GM event only lets me put-put around the course it's a waste of time, IMO. Also saw they only allow one drive per person for the C6.
No putt-putts for us! Just keep the car between the cones and don't throw out the rear end too much...and they don't say anything. Oh, and don't squeal the tires off the line.
Definitely worth the visit. The GTO is a real sleeper! And the Saab 9-2x is a pocket rocket. Also gives you a good chance to try out some potential daily drivers.
I was registered for the event at Gillette Stadium, but became
too busy this summer to go. There was only C5 back then.
From what they describe, you put the cars through courses
that they design for the car. For example - drive an H2 over a
big pile of rocks, etc.

The H2 was fun. They had a couple of hills that put it sideways, and a pretty steep pile of dirt to drive over. It was a bit unnerving going up, as all you could see was the sky above. But definitely worth a trip.
