I'm interested in putting a key-less entry in my 72 thus removing the locks on the doors and eliminating the weak point around the door locks. Living in Florida having to lock the car everytime its parked i know the locks will eventually weaken the fiberglass around the door locks and possibly cause damage to the doors.
Does anyone know of a key-less entry system on the market that is easily installed? Let me know

I installed the SPAL AS-80 keyless entry on my 80, will turn on dome light, flash parking lights...
where did you install the open/close switches and did you install separate switches to open and close? I would like one switch that opens/closes both doors. Let me know
Where did you install the open/close switch? Did you use 2 switches, one for open and the other for close or can you use one switch? I would like to use one switch if possible. Did the actuators come with the keypad for remote entry or do you buy that separate? I also have a 72 vette so the picture matches up to my car perfectly. Let me know
I don't use any switches, my alarm operates the actuators. You could use one switch only if it is a 3 position switch; that means usually off is the center position, and one way is unlock, the other way is lock.
So, you can either use an alarm/keyless entry system to operate the locks, or a hard wired switch, or both, it's up to you.
