Now that I'm coming close to the re-assembly process I'm hating the old rusty nuts and bolts (I hate being a perfectionist )Is there a place which overs a complete nut/bolt kit for the corvette? If not, is there at least a listing online of every nut and bolt? All the special stuff I have on order already (shock mounts, camber strut rod bolt etc). Thanks!
MidAmerica, Ecklers or Corvette Central have most if not all bolts and nuts available. They are 'original' but not cheap at all, it depends on what you want, stainless or grade 8 bolts are available in all sizes, shapes and whatever at www.mcmastercarr.com
ok, you will have to measure the bolts that you want, it is less convinient...
If you don't destroy them on removal. I've had good luck replacing the bolts by taking the old ones to a hardware store and matching them up to new grade 8 bolts. Use the matching nut to make sure that the threads are the same.
Also, i think that some assembly manuals that I've seen specify the bolts as well.
The hardware store is probably cheeper than Ecklers.
I purchased all my bolts from a local Bolt/Fastener distributor. Very affordable. Much cheaper than HD or Ace hardware stores. Just about everything is now stainless.
Ya just have to be careful with stainless... the bolt and nut have to be a perfect match, or you'll be there all day trying to get em off! (Heat expansion...) For some reason we never give it a second thought going on!

I've read when using stainless bolts with steel nuts or cast iron, you need to use anti sieze to make removal easier.
