So this morining at 4:45 AM I went out to change out my carb, I had a holley 750 that was leaking and badly corroded, installed a edelbrock 750 that is 2 months old that I bought for cheap. Everything was going great until I went to install the vacum hose onto the rear of the carb, it is a threaded hole, and I have no fittings, NAPA doesn't open for several hours.
So did you know that a male connector from your air ratchet is the exact same size? (ask me how I know) LOL
Anyway I fire it up and seems to run ok, walk to the passenger side and see what appears to be transmission fluid exiting the underneath of my car at a rapid rate!
As much as I wanted to get to it, I was out of time.

Necessity is the mother of all inventions. Well now you have time to go to NAPA and get the correct fitting. At least you now know that the air fitting will fit.
