...where'd you get your wheels? Those wheels look great on your car. Your car is looking AWESOME! I love the black/black '70 with those wheels. I'm probably going to be getting mine painted in a year or so and I've been really torn between Red and Black. I'm leaning more towards Torch Red (from the C5) as it's nice and bright, but not too orangey. But, sooooo many people have me "worried" about the maintenance of black that I think I'll stay red. Plus, the wife likes red more!

Thanks for the kind words Motor City Vette.

Those wheels are some that I picked up off of forum member T-TopTony. They are American Racing TTII's. I told my painter that I wanted mine the blackest black he could come up with. It is definitely black. It is hard to take a good picture that shows the body lines. I like red but when we were getting ideas, there just seemed to be so many red corvettes in our area. I just decided against red for that reason. Black is hard to get to look good because the cars are not straight to begin with. There was a lot of sanding and straightening done to the car. I am well pleased with the look now. Thanks for the compliments. I think one of my main influences was Mark OHSIXX's vette. His car was white like mine and he went black. Black looks awesome when it is clean. I don't drive mine everyday so I don't mind the clean up on it.
