I think there was an article in 'CorvetteFever' or 'Vette" about a conversion to an electric operated system a few months ago, the title was 'vacuum sucks'.

Ack forgot all about the electric headlight conversion which I happen to be doing

http://www.mcspeed.com/

He sells the brackets and all the fixens, kind of expensive but should be worth it to not deal with all the vacuum bullsh1t. If you're looking for a good place to buy the actuators, switch, etc,

http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/

Seems to be the lowest prices on all GM products. I actually ordered all my parts for the conversion the other day and I'm waiting on their arrival. I'm also waiting for my paypal verification to purchase the brackets from mcspeed.

Go pick up a JANUARY 05 issue of Corvette Enthusiast (they should be on the shelf right now), for an awesome ultra detailed article on the headlight conversion.
