Anyone ever have to cut the top of the fenders off to get at a rusty lower windshield frame?
How hard was it to replace and blend back in using fiberglass(the fender)
Does this weaken the fiberglass? I'm worried that if I do this the panel might crack along the repair after I paint it.
Why not remove the front clip? Then you can just bond it back in place, less work in the long run. When you do a thorough job on the fiberglass it won't be any weaker than the original but why would you want to go through all that.
