detailing tip for exhaust tip
tonight i was able to clean the inside of my exhaust tips (71) using eagle one wheel cleaner. This worked very well and removed all the mess. Obviously i protected the paint by laying a piece of cardboard over the tip while I sprayed the wheel cleaner on. Only took 15 mins for both tips while I watched the ball game. Good luck.

Yeah that stuff works really well, as does the meguiars 
If im feeling really pedantic I get out the autosol or auto glym metal polish as well, for that extra shine 
and im im feeling really ****, I use the dremel tool for even more buff
