The VIN in 1971 model year was not encoded with the engine type, that practice didn't start till 1972, so you're out of luck there. The '4' just confirms that it's a V8. The 67 states that it's convertible.
113959 means it is the 13,959th car out of 21801 built in the model year, probably built the first week of April 1972. Check your trim tag in the door jamb for a more precise date and add a day or two for completion date.
