Hey, I picked up this 81 Formula (ok so it's not a vette), It will run fine til it warms up them missing spitting sputtering. It is not to bad running WOT but if you slow down to turn pushing in clutch, it dies. Will start back up if I hold pedal to floor. Here is what I have done...replaced fuel pump, rubber fuel lines, cleaned out tank and sock filter, replaced ignition module, swapped carbs, replaced fuel filter. I don't know if it is starving for fuel or what. Any ideas?
If you can get a copy of the September 2004 issue of VETTE MAGAZINE the Q&A column on page 91 has a great cure for this. You replace the carb and distributor and eliminate the computer. If you can't get a copy email me a fax number and I will fax you the article.
