Default Reinforcing lower frame mounts

The frame mounts that attach to the lower control arms, I've read that these areas require reinforcing. I've got my mounts stripped, cleaned and ready for welding, I have a good friend that is willing to come over with his equipment and weld for BEER. I'm trying to figure a good way to do this, should I fabricate some L angle to weld into the sides of the mount and lower surface of the frame or is it just a matter of running some extra welds on the existing structure?

the issue is poor weld quality of the factory welds.....no reinforcement should be necessary.....just let him weld first, drink second

Weld the existing welds again. Get some triangles out of 1/4 inch steel to act as gussets in corners. I belive this iwhat Norval and I think Twin Turbo did. Do a search and hopefully you can find some photos.

I wish I had done this while my frame was bare.........
