About the NCRS thread. (Kinda long)
Of course that happens... you are a part of their society. I have never heard of problems between NCRS members. It's always how they treat a non-member that has no real interets in the nit-picking over a correct thickness wingnut. Instead of just appreciating this non-member simply because he is a fellow Corvette enthusiast.. the poor soul is made to feel like he doesn't "fit-in".
Sorry; have seen this first hand - and it was from the local chapter president
Like I've said earlier... the NCRS organization needs an attitude adjustment. There is a reason the "stereotype" was developed.
If a guy in a C3 and duct taped on T-Tops parks in the same lot as your judged NCRS C2... and then comes over to your C2 with a big grin on his face; why not treat him as a fellow enthusiast? If he wasn't an enthusiast, he would completely ignore your car and walk over to the customized pickup trucks and ricers.
The NCRS problems reported here in the C3 section are real. Stop slaming us for reporting what we've seen and witnessed.
To you NCRS members; instead of getting mad at us... why not "get mad" to your local and national representatives, demanding a new tone that welcomes ALL enthusiasts equally. And tell them to stop using lawyers to further their public relations.
