Default Headlight question

My headlight on the left side will not go down when I turn the lights off unless I lightly lift up on the headlight housing. When I lift up on the housing the light goes down with no problem. I have no problems with the right side. Is there a simple adjustment to fix this?

Thanks,
Ron

Search for headlight problems, loads of old threads. It could be the actuator or actuator relay. Did it just stop working?

its not the actuator or relay. The headlight hinges are binding on the fiberglass. The same thing happened to me and i had to put in replacement brackets. The originals were corroded and pulling away from the mount allowing the whole headlight assembly to drop lower. It might be your bracket or it might be the mounting bar that glues to the underside of the nose. That glue lets loose after 30 years.

Thanks. I am thinking it has something to do with the brackets/linkage because all I have to do to get it to down is slightly lift up on the headlight and it will drop down like it is supposed to. Again thanks for the replies.
