Default Trailing arms

Does anyone have a pair of bent/cracked/damaged/junk trailing arms? Condition doesn't matter, all I need is the section to which the hub bolts. I've been looking for a set and can't find them and I hate to pay top dollar for a pair and chop them up for a project and maybe end up not being able to use them or whatever.

There was someone here that had 2 old bent ones but can't remember who. I desperately need them, also need lower cross shafts for same project don't want to buy new, I'm cheap....I want used ones

Twin Turbo. Why don't you contact Dan at Van Steel, I'm sure he would have a set of centers as they receive many t-arms that are not rebuild-able but may have the center you need.still usable.

Now for a suggestion. Ask Dan about a set of centers from a set of off set T-Arms. I think he may have an inside connection on their manufacture. He might just be able to get you a set of just the heavy duty centers you really need. Jim

Sounds like a plan, they don't even have to be heavy duty.

This whole damn ordeal is halting my progress severely The vendors here ask rediculous prices for a set of rusty old arms. I had 2 leads on arms and cross shafts and have never heard from it again, all this time hoping I would have that sorted out. Damn damn damn, this way I will never be able to finsh the coil over stuff, or bite the bullet and fork over serious money for parts that I will in all reality destroy.

Phew! For a second there I thought TT was asking a question. If one of our top technicians starts to lose his head who will answer all of our dumb questions! And I agree, Dan can probably hook you up, great guy...

I think that was me and yes you can have them. PM me and we'll work it out. I'd also give you my strut rods but I promised them to another member that helped me install my new rear suspension stuff. He said that he may go with smart struts after seeing mine so I'll ask him if that is what he is going to do.

Hey Jonn. I'm still interested in the stock strut rod units if you have them. At the moment, the goal is simply to get the '74 street legal and capable at the most reasonable cost. After that is accomplished, then I'll start looking at "improvements"! But for sure let Twin Turbo have those bent trailing arms; they'll be put to good use!

I won't need the strut rod, I have a custom strut arrangement.

All I ask is if you can shop up those arms ro remove the excess stuff i don't need, that would save bundles on shipping. I really only need a tiny part.

I need the section outlined in black

It's basically just that machined plate welded on the arm

For the rest I need 2 lower cross shafts to finish my custom lower control arms.

What do you mean by cross shafts? The 2 rear drive shafts?

Dan also contacted me, he has lots of spares. If he's willing to cut that section out I think I'll go with him, payment for shipping is easier since they accept a credit card.

With cross shafts I mean the shafts of the lower control arm (front) on which the bushings sit, this:
