Installing New Weather strip
We just received our new 9 piece weather strip kit for our 69 coupe and wanted to get any advice the forum members may have on removing the old and installing the new

Hi mpsjm
I replaced mine last year . I used 3M weather strip adhesive remover and it worked great ,also didn't hurt the paint. When I put my new strips on I used 3M weather strip adhesive, also worked great. You can get the 3M weather strip adhesive in clear , black or yellow from any auto parts stores. Hope this helps.

....did mine the same way with good results!
