yep just the covers,im gone too make the dzues stands myself out of aluminum like liverpool did.
Now i got a question,he said there made to specific year,so i told him 73 which i have he said each bucket is made for each year,so is say 68-72 made with one dimension and 73 and up another dimension?
You get two pieces of moulded lexan (or whatever the material is) for the $295
The original covers where screwed straight into the bodywork........I made the two front posts and the rear bracket for the pzus fasteners as I didn't want to damage the bodywork.....also I trimmed the covers down a little to look a little more "contoured".
Just a note...make sure you use a sharp drill bit and not in a cold garage when drilling holes in them.
Nick im in the middle of making a template is there anyway of taking a picture for me of the very front edge of the bucket at the bumper side.I need to know if the bucket goes under the lip or over the lip thats there.
nope...that measurement is right, the outer lamp is pushed forward....as you can see in the shot from above.
Nick,
What headlights do you have in there? And where did you get the headlight cups and rings? Did you have to figure out how to mount them yourself, or was there a place on the buckets to attach them and how?

The bucket sits on top of the brace thats in the nose of the 69...it uses the three holes that th eplastic light portectors mount to.

The headligths are 53/4" crystal clear halogen conversions. The buckets are the regular buckest from a 69, and the stock mouting rings. I had to make up some space posts (threaded) so i can adjust them for direction.
I really like your car. I love the look. I see you don't like chrome either.
Thanks. And I do like chrome, I wouldn't buy a shark unless it was a chrome bumper car, but my car is autocross-only and the bumpers and brackets are extra weight.
covers are on back order for 2 weeks, gives me time to get the paint done,i got one bucket made, need to trim a few spots but itll ready to bolt in this weekend.
These look awesome on a chrome bumper car....even if the bumper is removed.....Personally though, I think they'd look poor on my 74 with the dumb rubber bumpers
Need some more measurements. See attached pictrue I need teh measuremnts where the red arrows are. Also If anyone has this in a cad file that would be great. my email address is guitarplayer83@comcast.net to send templet with measuremts or a cad file. Thanks
I too would like to have a set. So if you guys are going to produce those covers, put me in line to buy a set. Of course nothing is free, so I am willing to pay a resonable amount for them. I too can fabricate the buckets. It is the covers that will have to be made on a mold. I still would be interested in buying all of the parts though.

What year is your car is the cad drawing you provided for the 73 and up cars. What did you have to do to mount the buckets to the 73 and up cars. thanks.
