Thin turbo mufflers?

I'm looking for some thin, turbo style mufflers that don't cost a fortune. I need 2.5" inlet/outlet and, preferably, 2.5" to 3" thick. I've looked in every catalog I have and haven't found much. The only real candidates I have found are Spin Tech mufflers but at $130 each I'm not happy with the price.

It's a muffler for crying out loud. $130 is a bit much. I guess I'm cheap but I'm used to spending maybe $30 or $40 a muffler. I must be getting old, I remember buying $15 Thrush mufflers for my Nova. Any suggestions?

TT, that one looks like a thicker case model. Spin Tech makes quite a few different designs and their super thin one is the only one that will work.

PigPen, That one has a case that is 4.5" thick but it is cheap. I need one that is 3" or even 2.5" thick.

According to my talking to the Spin-Tech dealer near here, they get hot. Really really as in glowing red hot on race cars. Sorry, I don't want that next to my body.

I don't think too many people actually heard spintech mufflers, but I honestly think they are the best sounding mufflers on the market, and yes..they are pricey. yet its quality.
