Default C7 and beyond
saw a show on speed channel the other day. in it, was mentioned a "new" ferrari that has an all aluminum frame. car weighed about 2000 pounds. will vettes ever get lighter and more exotic materials? like aluminum frames and cages, maybe kevlar bodies? or will it always be too expensive for a general production car?

The rumor is that the Blue Devil with some form of a forced induction LS7 will have a carbon fiber body. Apparently the Z06 will weigh 2900lbs, so the Blue Devil will be lighter yet.
