Am i going to have any problems with my brake booster or any other compenent with tall deck BB in my 80. The difference is minimal between the tall and short but it is a tight fit. Let me know.
That's my understanding as well. The new 572's are Sportsman Tall Deck Bowtie blocks so if anyone has put one of those in they should be able to share their knowledge with you.
That 620 HP/650 Ft-Lbs 572 motor is described like this:
The new ZZ572/620 is built around an all-new Gen VI tall deck Bow Tie cylinder block. This all new race block is filled with a forged 4340 steel crankshaft with 4.375” stroke, shot peened forged 4340 H-beam rods, and forged aluminum pistons with full floating wrist pins. Plasma-moly rings are standard as is the screened and louvered windage tray. Hard core parts for hard core long term durability. The redesigned rectangular port aluminum cylinder heads result in a pump gas friendly 9.6:1 compression ratio. A hydraulic roller cam with 0.632 inch lift actuates the stainless steel valves. And, of course, hardened chromemoly retainers, roller rocker arms, and dual valve springs are used to complete the valvetrain.
We can all dream...Long Block is $11,500!

The engine will fit,but you will have to relocate or remove alot of equipment, forget about your powerbrake booster.Wont fit anymore .Your talking major work on everything but worth it if you want serious power.

I put a ZZ/502 in my 79- and with fairly tall valve covers. It fits under the brake booster OK. I dunno about the tall deck, though. I think you'd be cutting it too close, IMHO.
