Default offset control arm shafts,source???

Need a set off offset upper control arm shafts. Seems the shafts are avialable only as a complete control arm. Anyone know a source for the shaft alone?? Seems like none of the normal places have them, Ecklers, Mid America etc.

If I remember correctly, my alignment shop indicated these are available thru Moog.

I had the same question and got this response from Vette Brakes and Products:

The part number that you are looking for is 42110, that would be one pair
(2) Upper A-arm Cross Shafts. If you are looking for the Upper A-arms
themselves that have the Offset Cross Shafts the part number is 42101 and
that would also be one pair. Although this item is not on sale at this
time, remember you always get your regular CF 10% discount with us. Have a
great day !

BBShark is correct.

With a CF discount they would cost you $35.96 (42110)

I got the offset arms from VB&P when I bought the front monoleaf conversion. They made a 3 degree difference in caster. I highly recommend them.

So that is for a pair, or each?

Thanks for all your support. Finally got a body shop to look at the frame. Hopefully will find out today how much of an issue that is. I quess the question will be do I pay to adjust frame or use offset shafts in front and right rear use adjustable strut. Need to bring in the bottom of the tire more right rear. The camber bolt has been turned as far as it will go and it's not enough. Not really sure what to expect from the shop as to how fine they can read the frame and/or adjust it.

PS Is 3 degrees the max adjustment they provide?

Sound like you should be looking at the rear differential side yokes.
Make sure these aren't worn too far before tweeking the frame to compensate in the rear.
In fact, I can't see how the frame can affect this, unless one side
is way too far in and the other is way too far out.
Could also be strut rod bushings or the differential crossmember cushions/mounts.

My question was validating the price ($35.96) was for the pair.

McQuay-NOrris part number FA1194
TRW Part number 13166B
Both shafts are 1/4 inch offset from centerline
For all 1963-1979 Vettes.

So having offset shafts only gains the removal of ONE 1/4" shim? I had guessed it would be 1/2" offset, but at 1/4" it hardly seems worth it unless you are buying all new stuff anyway.

FYI: In my measurements, a 1/4" shim added about 1/2 degree of neg camber.

Canadian price was $65 per shaft.

Too bad at the same time as giving you 1/4 inch offset they didn't also drill the mounting holes 1/4 inch off to give alot more caster.

Frame shop came back with it's recommendation. They said go with the offset upper control arms in the front. They don't recommend adjusting the frame unless as a last resort. The rear end they feel is a bearing problem. They said with the wheels off the gound they can feel way too much movement they feel reflects shot bearings. They suggested replacing the bearing assembly. Acutually I'll replace the entire trailing arm assembly unit cost is around $300. Did the driver side trailing arm last summer. Now they'll both be redone. The suspension system at this point will be entirely redone. Already, did coils, lower arms, shocks, rear spring.

Sounds good - getting both TAs freshened rather than just one.
Be careful - side yokes can look like bad bearings to someone
who doesn't know better (ie - bodyshop).

Thanks for the info. Will go over it with the mechanic that will do the work. I think we replaced the side yokes last summer when other work was being done. Gotta check my records. Thank again.
