Hood latches and more progress
I finished my hood latches last weekend and here they are. They were sandblasted, prepped and painted with POR-15 and topcoated with ACE banner red. The clutch Z bar got the same treatment.
Here is a shot of the front of the chassis as it is right now.
I also cleaned up 2 years of garage dirt&dust that had settled in the interior. This picture shows where I mounted the computer for the ProFlo EFI system.
Summer is over here in the desert southwest and the garage is not an oven anymore so I can start to get some work done. I hope to be putting the body back on the frame in a couple of months.
