Want to order new U joints from Summit Racing. Which ones are prefered? Greaseable or non greaseable ones? P/N would help. How many do I need?
Also looking for engine and tranny mounts (rubber, not poly). Must be locking type.
Thanks for your help.
Edit: Also need to know whether FPP-1407 is the right gasket for Sportsman II heads and hooker comp headers? I ordered 1405 by mistake, need to confirm before I re-order.
Get the u-joints from Fred at Dynamic Shaft in Scarborough. Buy the non-greaseable Spicers.
Agree. Order a brand name for the U-Joints. If you don't, parts places will foster off a no-name brand of probable no-quality. I have Spicers. They are not greaseable. What this means is that the "spiders" are solid since they don't have internal grease passages. This makes them a great deal stronger.
Wait.... There are four for the half shafts andtwo different ones for the driveshaft and depending on the year some show differences between atuomatic and manual on the driveshaft. In other words not all 6 are alike. 4+2
